Protein Rich Breakfasts Reduce Hunger

Updated: May 13, 2021

A New Study Suggest Protein Rich Breakfasts Reduce Hunger

Breakfast - the most important meal of the day.

Or it can be, depending on how well you do it. If you eat a bowl of sugary cereal, you may find you're hungry again by 10am. Sugary breakfasts do not fuel you for long, as our body burns through it quickly and then craves more to keep it going.

To feel fuller for longer, try protein-rich and fibre-rich breakfasts. Non-carbohydrate foods, specifically protein and fat, slow down digestion, giving you that satisfied feeling throughout the morning.

The result? High-protein breakfasts may help people eat less during the rest of the day!

That's why we are adding more protein-rich breakfasts to our Breakfast Recipes section on our Members Zone, with another 5 added yesterday.
